• Olive leaf (Olea europaea) was first used medicinally in the ancient Egypt. In the Bible, the olive plant is often mentioned in reference to its medicinal use. Latter, pulverised leaves were used in drinks to address fevers and have also been used in malaria cases (1).

  According to the scientific literature, Olive leaves are rich in polyphenolic compounds that have been found to have a large amount of important functions (1, 2). The main component of Olive leaves associated to such properties is called Oleuropein, that gives olive leafs (and oils) a bitter taste. In line with both its traditional use and scientific research, Olive Leaf Extract it is believed to

  • Help the physiological sugars balance (250-500 mg (standardized extract), 1-3 times a day) (3)

  Small amounts of oleuropein are provided by moderate amounts of olive oil, that can be easily consumed in the context of a balanced diet.
